Searches and investigative measures were carried out in the house of the former leader. The next day, he was formally charged, since then Dodon has been under house arrest. On Thursday, June 16, the prosecutor's office filed charges of complicity in illegal enrichment to the wife of the ex-president, Galina Dodon. On July 15, the ex-president's mother was invited to the prosecutor's office, who was supposed to be charged with the same charges as his wife, but the hearing was postponed due to his state of health.
