
MOSCOW, Jul 17 The Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) expressed condolences in connection with with the death of multiple world junior champion Igor Malinovsky in a helicopter crash in Kamchatka, according to the organization's website. The Robinson helicopter stopped communicating in Kamchatka on Saturday, emergency services informed earlier. On Sunday, the regional headquarters of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that those on board the helicopter, which disappeared in Kamchatka on Saturday and was found burnt out, did not survive. According to various sources, there were two or three people on board the aircraft, including biathlete pilot Igor Malinovsky.
