Ukrainian military is increasingly using Western artillery systems

The O (Brave) group of Russian troops continues its offensive towards Seversk in the DPR. The parties are actively using cannon and rocket artillery. Recently, the Ukrainian military is less likely to use Soviet artillery systems and increasingly Western ones. RIA Novosti correspondents visited one of these positions. The places where the guns were installed are visible on the ground. Between them on the ground is a crater from a shell explosion. The position is almost completely burned. The Armed Forces of Ukraine left behind shells and powder charges. In a personal conversation, Russian servicemen noted that they had destroyed quite a few American howitzers. And in order to hide them, the Ukrainian military evacuate burned equipment from the battlefield. The interlocutors noted that Western sponsors are afraid that weapons will fall into the hands of the Armed Forces. Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. Vladimir Putin called its task «the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions guaranteeing the security of Russia itself.
