The Second Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction in Moscow reduced the sentence of Pavel Rebrovsky, accused in the New Greatness case, by a year, to five years in prison, TASS reports.
New Greatness Case. What the investigation has
Rebrovsky made a deal with the investigation and testified against other defendants in the New Greatness case — Ruslana Kostylenkova< /span>, Pavel Karamzin, Vyacheslav Kryukov, Maria Dubovik, Anna Pavlikova, Maxim Roshchin and Vyacheslav Kryukov. All are accused in the case of creating an extremist community and participating in it (parts 1.2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code).
The Rebrovsky case was considered separately and sentenced to 2.5 years in prison, and later the term was increased to six years. This happened after Rebrovsky refused to testify and said that the investigator promised a suspended sentence, not a real one.
