CSKA signed a contract with a 19-year-old hockey player


MOSCOW, Aug 11 Moscow hockey club CSKA signed a contract for three seasons with 19-year-old forward Vsevolod Gaydamak, according to the official website of the army team. The rights to Gaydamak were received by the army team last fall as part of an exchange with Avangard Omsk for Nikita Soshnikov. Last season, Gaydamak played in the Ontario Hockey League for Ottawa, gaining 34 points (16 goals + 18 assists) in 64 matches. As part of the Russian national team, the hockey player won the World Challenge Cup in 2019, and won silver medals at the Junior World Championship in 2021.
