MOSCOW, Aug 12 Most Russians (78.3%) approve of the activities of Russian President Vladimir Putin, trust him — more than 81%, follows from a study by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). The majority of Russians — 78.3% — approve of the activities of the President of the Russian Federation, the activities of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin — 52.2%, the country's government — 52.6%. Most of the politicians survey participants trust Putin (81.3%), Mishustin (63.1%), as well as the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov (33.8%) and the leader of the party «Fair Russia — for the truth! » Sergei Mironov (31.3%). 18.6% of Russians trust the leader of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, and 11.6%, the leader of the New People, Alexei Nechaev. The level of support for the United Russia party is 40.7%; 5%, «Fair Russia — Patriots — For Truth!» — 5.7%. «New people» scored 4.2%. 1,600 Russians aged 18 and over took part in the survey. The survey method is a telephone interview based on a stratified random sample extracted from a complete list of cell phone numbers used in the territory of the Russian Federation. The data are weighted by socio-demographic parameters. The marginal error with a probability of 95% does not exceed 1%.
