MOSCOW, Aug 13 Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk scored in the first match for Italy football club «Torino».
On Saturday, he hit the gates of «Monza» in the 43rd minute of the guest meeting of the first round of the Italian championship, receiving the ball from a partner at the entrance to the penalty area and pushing it past the goalkeeper. After the first half, the score in the match was 1:0 in favor of Torino. On August 11, the Russian moved to the Turin club on loan from Atalanta for one season. The agreement includes the right to buy the player.
Miranchuk, 26, joined Atalanta in September 2020 from Lokomotiv Moscow. The transaction amount, according to media reports, amounted to 14.5 million euros. For the Bergamasks, the Russian also scored on his debut, scoring in the Champions League against Danish Mittjylland (4:0).
Since then, the midfielder has played 56 matches for Atalanta, scoring nine goals and giving seven assists . Last season, the Russian played for the team from Bergamo in a total of 25 meetings, scoring two goals and five assists.
