MOSCOW, Aug 14 Two-time world champion in ski mountaineering Frenchwoman Adele Milloz died on the slope of the Mont Blanc massif, Le Dauphine reports. The tragedy occurred on the evening of August 12. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The athlete was found by climbers moving along the same route. The guide accompanying her also died. It is noted that the route on the slope of the Aiguille du Pin was classic and did not pose a danger. According to the publication, Milloz studied at the National School of Skiing and Mountaineering. She wanted to be a guide. The climber was supposed to receive her diploma on August 15. Milloz won the World Ski Mountaineering Championship twice. In 2017, she won the sprint and individual race. She also has the gold of the 2018 European Championship in the sprint.
