MOSCOW, Aug 16 National Basketball Association (NBA) forward Brooklyn Nets» Kevin Durant reacted to rumors about his retirement, saying he plans to continue playing. In July, it was reported that Durant asked the club's management to trade him to the Phoenix Suns or Miami Heat. He later told team owner Joseph Tsai that he did not want to work under head coach Steve Nash.
"I know that most people will believe anonymous sources, not me. But if anyone will listen to me, then I do not plan to retire anytime soon", Durant wrote on Twitter.
Durant is a two-time NBA champion and a three-time Olympic champion. The basketball player has four years left on his contract with the Nets, during which he must earn $ 198 million.
