The fan is the main thing in football. I am not sure that the attendance will improve,» Alaev told reporters. — a dialogue with the fans and a compromise. I would really like us to return them, — added the head of the RPL. — Nobody needs empty stands. I will definitely talk with representatives of the fan movements of the clubs. We need to hear the fans and their position. «Fan card from the beginning of the current season is required to attend matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL) in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Sochi. By the end of the year, the rest of the cities where the RPL clubs will be based will join the system: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khimki, Grozny, Krasnodar, Orenburg, Voronezh. All participants, spectators, guests and staff, as well as media representatives, must have the card. After the introduction of fan cards, fan associations of many clubs announced a boycott of football matches from the 2022/23 season.
