MOSCOW, Aug 15 Canadian striker Scott Wilson has reached an agreement to sign a contract with “Vityaz”, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow Region hockey club. Last season, the player spent in the American Hockey League (AHL) Charlotte Checkers, which is the farm club of Florida and Seattle. He has 40 points (24 goals and 16 assists) in 71 games. Wilson, 30, was selected by Pittsburgh in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The forward played with the Penguins from 2014 to 2017. As part of the club, he won the Stanley Cup in the 2016/17 season. After that, Wilson was traded to Detroit, and then played in Buffalo. The last two seasons he played in the AHL.
