MOSCOW, Aug 22 Former F1 president Bernie Ecclestone said in Westminster Magistrates Court of his innocence on charges of fraud, according to France Presse. After formal statements, the judge released Ecclestone pending another pre-trial hearing scheduled for September 19. In July, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) charged 91-year-old Ecclestone with fraud after an investigation UK Revenue and Customs (HMRC). According to the Daily Mail, Ecclestone allegedly provided false information to the tax office after «failing to declare assets worth 472 million euros (400 million pounds) held abroad.»
