On Monday, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Football National League (FNL), a letter from the Crimean Football Union on the inclusion of the peninsula's clubs in the competition under the auspices of the FNL was considered. As a result, it was decided to create a joint working group that will analyze the readiness of professional clubs in Crimea for integration. It is expected that a delegation from the FNL will visit the peninsula in the near future.” As for the situation in Crimea, in accordance with the decision of the UEFA emergency commission of August 22, 2014, the UEFA executive committee decided to ban Crimean clubs from playing in competitions organized by the Russian Football Union, with January 1, 2015, and that the region be considered a “special zone” for football purposes until further notice,” the message reads.
