The FSB announced that it had identified another participant in the murder of Daria Dugina, the daughter of publicist Alexander Dugin, RIA Novosti and Interfax write with reference to the special service.
“It was established that the murder of Dugina along with [ Natalia] Vovk was trained in Moscow by another member of the Ukrainian sabotage and terrorist group, Ukrainian citizen Bogdan Petrovich Tsyganenko, born in 1978, who arrived in Russia in transit through Estonia on July 30, 2022,” the FSB said in a statement.
According to the intelligence service, Tsyganenko helped Vovk with fake license plates and documents in the name of Kazakh citizen Yulia Zaiko, and together with her assembled a homemade bomb in a rented garage in the South-West of Moscow.
Then, Vovk, who arrived in Russia in July with her daughter, personally followed Dugina in the parking lot of the Tradition festival in the Zakharovo estate, followed the publicist's SUV in a Mini Cooper and “set off the bomb. Tsyganenko, according to the FSB, left the country the day before the explosion.
Dugina's car was blown up on the evening of 20 August. The Investigative Committee found that the bomb was placed in the car under the bottom on the driver's side, the power of the device was estimated at 400 grams of TNT.
