NEW DELHI, Sep 13 At least eight people have died in a fire in an adjoining to the hotel showroom with electric transport in the Indian city of Secunderabad, reports India Today. «When the police arrived, the showroom and the hotel were filled with thick smoke. Firefighters were able to save several people using a ladder. Rescuers went upstairs and carried out six people who were without consciousness,” the publication quotes the words of the representative of the local police, Deepti Chandana. It is specified that all the victims were guests of the hotel located in the building. There were 25 people there at the time of the fire. Some were able to get out on their own, two jumped out of the window. The police are investigating the incident. An electric vehicle left to charge overnight may have been the cause of the fire.
