Volodymyr Zelensky's motorcade got into an accident in Kyiv, he did not receive serious injuries, his press secretary Sergei Nikiforov said on social networks. According to the press secretary, the passenger car collided with Zelensky's car and cars from his motorcade. The driver of the car was taken away by an ambulance. Zelensky himself was not seriously injured, and the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. An accident involving a bus with children This is not the first accident that Zelensky’s motorcade has been involved in. In July 2019, a minibus of the State Security Department of Ukraine Volkswagen Transporter, which is part of its cortege, had an accident in the Zaporozhye region. According to Strana.ua, the collision involved buses with children returning from resorts. Zelensky himself was not in the cortege. The press service of the state guard then stated that there were no victims as a result of the accident. In addition to the minibus, two more cars were involved in the accident, which were moving in the same direction. On the fact of the accident, the police drew up administrative protocols in respect of two drivers from Zelensky's motorcade. No criminal case was opened on the fact of the accident. Zelensky herself later promised to bring state security officers to justice if they were proven guilty. Other accidents involving presidential motorcades in Ukraine in Kyiv, a 13-year-old cyclist.
