MINSK, Sep 18 Russian Maksim Tsvetkov became the winner of the mass start at the second stage of the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup in Raubichi (Belarus). Tsvetkov covered the distance of 12.5 km with four firing lines in 33 minutes 53.8 seconds, without allowing a single miss. The second place was taken by Belarusian Anton Smolsky (+10.5 seconds; 1 miss), the third was another representative of Russia Roman Yeremin (+10.6; 1). The Biathlon Commonwealth Cup includes two summer and four winter stages. The third stage of the tournament will be hosted by Ryazan on December 21-25. The total prize fund of the Commonwealth Cup will be 40 million rubles. The Congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) on Friday decided to uphold the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until further notice.
