File photoMOSCOW, Sep 19 Buyers of Russian natural gas in Germany have resumed bids for Nord Stream supplies for the first time since the pipeline was suspended for maintenance. This was reported by the Reuters news agency. The journalists stressed that information about applications for Russian gas appeared on the websites of Gazprom's German clients. There were no applications on the website of the Nord Stream operator as of early Monday,» the authors noted. Gas supplies via Nord Stream, also one of the main routes for exporting Russian gas, stopped since the end of August. «Gazprom» explained this by the identified malfunctions at the only working gas-pumping unit of the Portovaya compressor station. The German Siemens said that it does not consider them a technical reason for stopping the gas pipeline. However, Gazprom later announced that Siemens was participating in the repair work of the unit, detecting malfunctions and ready to fix them, but because of the sanctions, there was nowhere to do it.
