MOSCOW, Sep 21 Ukrainian team captain Andriy Yarmolenko before the Nations League match against team of Scotland said that Russian sports and football should be isolated from the rest of the world. On Tuesday, UEFA announced that the Russian team will not be allowed to draw for the qualifying tournament for the European Championship in 2024. «In my opinion, Russian football, all Russian sports, the whole country needs «isolate from the rest of the world. All the players of the national team want Russia to be punished as much as possible. We are in favor of isolating them from the whole world. I will be glad if they are excluded from all competitions, not only football,» Yarmolenko said to the press -conferences. Earlier, the International Football Federation (FIFA) and UEFA issued a joint statement, according to which Russian teams and clubs were suspended from participation in all international competitions for an indefinite period. In mid-July, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed appeals against this decision.
