On Tuesday, UEFA decided not to allow the participation of the national team Russia in the draw for the qualifying round of the European Championship — 2024. «This decision was not made on the same day. The decision to suspend the Russian clubs and national teams was made until further notice. This means that we are monitoring the development of the situation. Until we decide otherwise , it will remain in force so that we do not have to make a decision with the appearance of each new tournament,» L'Equipe quotes Čeferin. «We hope that the conflict will end as soon as possible so that the national team can take part in our competitions.
