MOSCOW, Sep 25 Marathon participant in Kazakhstan Alma-Ata Rustem Sadykov died at the end of the race, according to the competition website. Sadykov was 47 years old. He ran a distance of 10 km, walked a few meters after the finish line and fell. It is noted that the organizers of the race will provide financial assistance in transporting the body to Astana, from where the athlete arrived for the competition. «We immediately began to help him. At first, the heart was able to start, sinus rhythm appeared, and two minutes later, the heart stopped again. Resuscitation continued for 30 minutes, of which the last 10 minutes in the ambulance. And at 10:15 we declared death. The official reason can only be named after a forensic medical examination,» said Orazbek Sakhov, head physician of the competition. It is reported that Sadykov participated in running competitions on several occasions.
