MOSCOW, Sept. 25 American power forward of Zenit St. Petersburg Thomas Wimbush recognized the most valuable player of the VTB United League Super Cup, according to the league's Telegram channel. «Zenith» on Sunday beat CSKA Moscow with a score of 71:70 and became the winner of the tournament for the first time. In the final, the 28-year-old player spent 19 minutes and 9 seconds on the court and scored 20 points. Wimbush signed a contract with the Blue-White-Blues for two seasons in July. The best coach of the tournament was the head of Zenit, Javier Pascual. The symbolic five included Alexander Shcherbenev (Lokomotiv Kuban), Malcolm Casalon (Mega, Serbia), James Nunnally (Crvena Zvezda, Serbia), Jalen Reynolds (UNICS, Kazan) and Nikola Milutinov (CSKA).
