MOSCOW, Sep 30 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl beat Severstal Cherepovets in home game of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL). The meeting in Yaroslavl ended with a score of 5:3 (1:3, 1:0, 3:0). As part of the hosts, goals were scored by Pavel Kraskovsky (15th minute), Stepan Nikulin (31), Georgy Ivanov (44), Andrey Sergeev (46) and Rushan Rafikov (47). Alexander Suvorov scored a double for the guests (2, 17), Robin Press scored another goal (16). Lokomotiv head coach Igor Nikitin was not on the bench due to his father's death. The team was led by senior coach Dmitry Yushkevich. Lokomotiv is fourth in the Western Conference standings with 16 points in 13 games, while Severstal is in ninth position with 12 points in 12 games. In the next match on October 4, Yaroslavl will play on the road with Novosibirsk “Siberia”, the Cherepovets team will pay a visit to Moscow “Dynamo” two days earlier.
