Russian gymnasts won't agree to the chapter's condition International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach in order to participate in international competitions, the head coach of the Russian national team Valentina Rodionenko told reporters. Earlier, Bach, in an interview with the Italian edition of Corriere della Sera, said that Russian athletes who do not support the special operation in Ukraine should be allowed to participate in international competitions in a neutral status. «None of the athletes will agree to betray their country. We will not compete under such conditions,» Rodionenko said. In late February, the IOC recommended that sports federations not allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in competitions due to the situation on Ukraine. Most IFs have followed this recommendation.
