Later, the Constitutional Court of Russia recognized these treaties as corresponding to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The law is submitted for signature to the president. The law establishes that the boundaries of the territory of the LPR are determined by the boundaries established by its constitution on the day the republic was formed and accepted into the Russian Federation.

The state language of the LPR is Russian, while the right to freely choose the language of communication, upbringing, education and creativity and the preservation of the native language is guaranteed in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation. and settlements in them. The armed forces and formations of the LPR will be included in the Russian armed forces. As noted in the text of the law, from the day the LPR was adopted in the Russian Federation until January 1, 2026, there is a transitional period during which the issue of integration of the republic into the economic, financial, credit and legal systems of the Russian Federation and into the system of its state authorities. Banks of the LPR will be able to obtain a license from the Bank of Russia until January 1, 2024. The law also provides that Russian legislation on OSAGO will not be valid on the territory of the LPR until January 1, 2024.
