The former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in two weight categories, the Irishman Conor McGregor, said on his social networks that the ex-owner of the lightweight promotional belt, the Brazilian Charles Oliveira, will be able to regain the title in a duel against the Russian Islam Makhachev. The fight will take place on October 22. The fight between Oliveira and Makhachev will be the main event of the 280th numbered UFC tournament, which will be held in Abu Dhabi. The lightweights are on 11-fight and 10-fight winning streaks respectively.
