MOSCOW, Oct 10 Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Hearing on Appeal The Russian Rowing Federation (FGSR) on the decision of the International Rowing Federation to remove athletes from participation in international competitions will be held on November 28, according to the CAS website. At the end of February, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that international sports federations not allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to participation in competitions due to the situation in Ukraine. A number of federations followed this recommendation. In April, CAS registered ten appeals of Russian federations. Earlier, the President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, said that the consideration of appeals of Russian sports federations in CAS had been postponed for a long time due to problems with the formation of the panel of arbitrators, but hearings could take place before the end of 2022. Hearings on the dispute between the Russian Boxing Federation and Saadat Dalgatova against the International Boxing Association (IBA) are also scheduled for November 10.
