The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sentenced Yevgenia Feklistova, a teacher of Russian language and literature at a private elementary school, to one and a half years on probation in the case of assaulting police ensign Vadim Khomyakov (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Sota reports.
According to investigators, on February 24, during a rally against the invasion of Ukraine on Pushkin Square, Feklistova hit an employee of the 2nd Special Regiment Khomyakov with a textile bag in the face, because of which he received a “bruised wound on his upper lip.” The teacher pleaded guilty and made a deal with the investigation, her case was considered in a special order.

Feklistova told Mediazona that during the rally she saw how a policeman grabbed a girl who shouted “No to war!”: “This picture, when a hefty policeman leads a fragile girl, is impressive. I caught up with the policeman, hugged him from behind and said: «Can I go with you to the paddy wagon?» Let's at the same time me, I think, and the girl alone is not so disgusting. But he, of course, pushed me very sharply and rudely, shouted: «Keep your distance!». I was terribly angry and with the words: «Where were you when I was robbed with a knife to my throat?» — she waved her bag at him, hit him on the cheek. And I immediately got very scared.'

The criminal case against Feklistova was opened on March 14, four days later, investigator Ilya Myalkin completed the investigation. They took a written undertaking not to leave the place from the teacher.
