MOSCOW, Oct 19 Head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin spoke about a possible challenge to the team of Cypriot «Aris» striker Alexander Kokorin. The last time Kokorin entered the field as part of the Russian national team on November 14, 2017 in a friendly match against the Spanish team (3: 3). «Anyone can be called up, we are watching all the players,» Karpin told Sport24, answering a question about the possible call of Kokorin. Kokorin was rented by Aris from the Italian Fiorentina, to which he moved in January 2021 from Spartak Moscow. For «Aris» he played six matches, scored three goals and gave one assist. As part of the Russian national team, Kokorin played 48 matches, scored 12 goals and gave six goals.
