According to sources, the decision was made on Wednesday after a meeting with the head of the Moscow Sports Committee Alexei Kondarantsev. Kuznetsov's contract is valid until October 21, but on Thursday he already announced his retirement at school and said goodbye to the team. The name of Kuznetsov's successor is currently not disclosed. Kuznetsov has been the general director of Sambo-70 since October 2021. He removed Renat Laishev from this post, who headed the school for almost 30 years.
