MOSCOW, Oct 20 Portuguese motorcycle racer Armindu Neves dies during rally marathon Africa Eco Race, according to the official website of the competition. The tragedy occurred on October 19 at the 443rd kilometer of the special stage between the cities of Busaid and Tagunit in Morocco. Arriving by helicopter at the scene, doctors could not save the 52-year-old racer. According to the organizers of the rally-raid, this is the first death of a racer since the creation of the Africa Eco Race in 2009. They urged the competitors to be extra careful during the remainder of the rally marathon.
