MOSCOW, 23 Oct. Russian MMA fighter Islam Makhachev ahead of schedule defeated Brazilian Charles Oliveira in the main fight of the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi. The fight ended in the second round with a choke from the Russian. Makhachev won the vacant lightweight belt and won 11 consecutive victories. The same winning streak of Charles Oliveira was interrupted.
