Previously, Bloomberg reported that Twitter began laying off employees after the purchase of the company by Elon Mask. According to the agency, employees walk out of the company's San Francisco building holding cardboard boxes of belongings. «Verge has confirmed that the name does not exist on the Slack Twitter (message service) and email system,» one of the «fired» employees introduced himself as Rahul Ligma. It is also noted that the name Ligma is a reference to a vulgar Internet joke. The publication indicates that the allegedly dismissed employees of the social network made a number of «stupid» statements to reporters. In particular, one of them claimed that Barack and Michelle Obama would not have become president and first lady if Musk had owned Twitter in 2008.
