Moldova will resume the movement of passenger trains to Kyiv

CHISINAU, Oct 29 Moldova resumes international passenger rail transportation between Chisinau and Kyiv, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Spinu said.
«After more than 20 years, international passenger rail trips from Chisinau to Kyiv, the train of peace, are being resumed. The cars are painted by Ukrainian artists and each represents a separate region of Ukraine,» wrote Spinu in the Telegram channel.
From November 6, 2022, the train of the regular route Chisinau — Kyiv will depart to Ukraine three times a week. The train is designed for 280 passengers, it has seven cars, five of which are compartments and two reserved seats. The railway route Chisinau-Kyiv will be operated by the Railways of Moldova and Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways).
