MOSCOW, 29 Oct. Russian hackers «hacked» the personal phone of former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, writes the Daily Mail.
According to the publication, hackers managed to get top-secret details about negotiations with key London allies, as well as the correspondence of the former head of the British government with her closest friend, Quasi Kwarteng.
The hack happened back in the summer, when she was British Foreign Secretary. However, the country's then-prime minister Boris Johnson withheld information about the incident, the article says.
One of the sources told the agency that the phone was so badly compromised that it was now placed in a locked safe in a government-guarded place.< br>
