MOSCOW, Oct 31 Vladimir Rogov announced a strike on a substation near DneproGES in Kyiv-controlled Zaporozhye.
«According to preliminary information, a substation near DneproGES was hit in Zaporozhye,» he wrote in his Telegram channel.
DneproGES is located in Ukraine-controlled the city of Zaporozhye. Rogov previously stated that the hydroelectric power station had been mined since the first days of March, when Kyiv expected the Russian army to occupy Zaporozhye. If the provocation planned by Ukraine at the hydroelectric power station is implemented, an uncontrolled discharge of water will occur.
According to experts, the wave can reach 20 meters and cover the coastal part of the city of Zaporozhye at a speed of over 60 kilometers per hour. The flow of water after the explosion could reach the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and flood its territory.
The Russian Armed Forces began to attack the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being made on energy, defense industry, military administration and communications facilities throughout the country.
Since then, air raid alerts have been announced in Ukrainian regions every day, sometimes throughout the country. Volodymyr Zelensky said on October 18 that 30% of power plants in Ukraine were destroyed, which led to massive power outages.
