MOSCOW, 6 Nov. A resident of Bristol, 28-year-old Luke Dickinson, married a 37-year-old refugee from Ukraine, Vera Klimova, less than three months after meeting on the social network, writes the Daily Mail.
The couple got married in late September, less than three months after acquaintance. The Ukrainian woman left Odessa with her 15-year-old daughter for Moldova, where she met Dickinson through a group for those wishing to move to the UK.
When Dickinson began to communicate with Klimova, she already had documents ready for further migration to the West. According to him, at first he did not know where the Ukrainian woman was going.
«We had laughter and jokes, the sense of humor was perfect. Everyone always says that no one understands the English sense of humor, but she understands,» the man explained.
He added that the Ukrainian woman used an online translator for correspondence, as she did not understand English. The woman reached England through Hungary and the Netherlands. Arriving in Bristol, Klimova went to English and driving courses.
