MOSCOW, Nov 7 Russia urges Armenia and Azerbaijan to refrain from steps that could destabilize the situation between the two countries, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
«We continue to urge both countries to refrain from any actions and steps that could lead to increased tension,» he said. Peskov, answering a question about how the Kremlin reacted to the news about the renewed firefight between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry accused the Azerbaijani Armed Forces of shelling Armenian positions on the border on Monday night, Baku also announced the use of another side of small arms against Azerbaijani positions.
