BELGOROD, Nov 7 Deputies of the Belgorod City Council accepted the early resignation of the head of the city of Anton Ivanov in connection with his transfer to another job, the press service of the mayor's office reports.
«The city council supported the resignation of Anton Ivanov from the post of mayor of Belgorod. The decision was made today at an extraordinary session. According to the city charter, the powers of the head of administration are terminated on the basis of a decision of the Belgorod City Council from the moment of its adoption,» the department's Telegram channel said. City Council elected Ivanov to the post of head of the administration of Belgorod in December 2021. Ivanov announced his resignation from the post of mayor at the end of October, his decision was supported by the head of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
