Blagovolina and Boikov added that they and the US Embassy would have to receive a notification when the basketball player was taken to the colony.
The two-time Olympic champion was detained on February 17 at Sheremetyevo Airport. She planned to continue playing the season for the Ural basketball club UMMC.
