MOSCOW, Nov 10 Russian delegation at the APEC summit in Thailand Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, will head the meeting, spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said.
Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not go to the G20 summit in Indonesia, and Russia will be represented by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Putin will not take part in the APEC summit either.
«Yes, there will be Belousov,» Peskov said in response to a question.
The G20 summit will be held on the Indonesian island of Bali on 15-16 november. Indonesian President Joko Widodo stated that 17 heads of state and government agreed to come to the island in person, and expressed hope for Putin's arrival.
The APEC forum is scheduled to be held in Bangkok on November 18-19.
