BRUSSELS, Nov 11 The decision on a ceasefire in Ukraine must accept Kyiv, if the decision is made, the EU is ready to assist, a high-ranking European source told journalists in Brussels.
«As for the ceasefire, we have always said that the decision is up to Ukraine. Military logic does not always coincide with political or diplomatic. Conflicts culminate in peace talks, ceasefires, but I believe that we in the West fully share the idea that the Ukrainians should determine the moment, and we will undoubtedly provide assistance,» he said.
