MOSCOW, Nov 15 The buildup of states and peoples begins with distortion history and the blurring of traditional values, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
«The distortion of history, the planting of myths, the erosion of values, in many respects it is precisely with these myths that the buildup of states and peoples begins. Such a scenario, as we see, was tested on some countries already, including Ukraine and a number of other states. There were attempts to do the same with our country,» Putin said at a meeting of the Russian Pobeda organizing committee.
The President recalled that the foundations of the state policies to preserve and strengthen traditional values. «They certainly include historical memory,» he noted. to defend their interests, they put a barrier on them,» Putin said.
