MOSCOW, Nov. 15 Senator from the Legislative Assembly of the Ryazan Region Igor Morozov said that he had written a statement resigning from his senatorial powers, plans to stay in Africa and work in the economic direction within the framework of the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries (AFROCOM) headed by him.
«I have written a statement from today. I am leaving Russia , I will work in Africa, in those countries where there are AFROCOM offices — Ethiopia, Uganda and Gambia,» the senator said.
According to Morozov, he decided to devote himself exclusively to the African direction, since this continent is becoming the market that becomes a key for Russia, and Russia attaches special importance to cooperation with African countries.
