LUGANSK, Nov 17 Ukrainian troops are preparing a provocation with shelling of a hospital in the village of Veliky Burluk in the Kharkiv region, said the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Ivan Filiponenko.
«According to our intelligence, in order to divert attention from the shelling of Poland by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile S-300, the Kyiv regime is preparing a resonant provocation against accusing Russia of allegedly destroying a district hospital in the village of Veliky Burluk, Kharkiv region, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,» he said.
According to the information available to the People's Militia of the LPR, the Ukrainian command plans to shell the hospital from the area of the village of Khatnoe on the night of November 17. Kyiv, according to Filiponenko, plans to involve journalists, including foreign ones, in covering the provocation.
On Tuesday evening, the Polish media reported the fall of two rockets in the Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine. As a result of the incident, two people were killed.
Immediately after the incident, the Polish Foreign Ministry announced that Russian-made missiles had fallen.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stressed that the military had not carried out any strikes on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border, and all Warsaw's statements about Moscow's involvement are a provocation. The agency also indicated that, according to the conclusions of experts, the published photos from the scene show fragments of a Ukrainian missile for the S-300 complex.
As US President Joe Biden said following an emergency meeting of G7 leaders, preliminary data do not confirm that the fallen rocket was launched by Russian troops. The Pentagon said that they intend to operate not with speculation, but with facts, for which there are enough opportunities to find out.
On Wednesday, Duda also admitted that it was highly likely that the missiles belonged to Ukraine.
