YEREVAN, Nov 18 It is necessary to develop the potential of trade and economic relations Russia and Armenia, Armenian Ambassador to Moscow Vagharshak Harutyunyan said as part of the business event: “Russian-Armenian business cooperation: doing business in modern realities”, which took place in the Armenian diplomatic mission.
The event was attended by representatives of Armenian and Russian business circles, as well as representatives of various Russian state and public structures, including from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow and the all-Russian public organization “Business Russia”,
Harutyunyan noted the important role of trade and economic cooperation in the Armenian- Russian allied relations.
“The head of the diplomatic mission positively assessed the dynamics of building up trade and economic relations between Armenia and Russia over the past period of time, and also pointed to the need to develop the full potential of these relations in key sectors of the economy,” the embassy said.
In this context, Harutyunyan drew attention to the opportunities that open up for entrepreneurs of the two countries within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and an ever-renewing favorable environment for investing in Armenia.
In his speech, the Armenian Ambassador to Russia also spoke about the main directions of economic activity in Armenia and the policy of the country's government in this direction, the report says.
