"At 17.12 local time (15.12 Moscow time), the fire is localized on an area of 800 square meters, firefighters are taking measures to eliminate burning,” the message says.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that a furniture warehouse was on fire in Yekaterinburg on an area of 800 square meters, extinguishing was complicated by heavy smoke and a high combustible load of the premises.
According to the department, the message about the fire was received at 13.11 (Moscow time). On the spot, units of the gas and smoke protection service and an operational headquarters were formed. It was noted that materials for the production of furniture and production residues were burning.
There is no information about the victims. It is specified that 14 units of fire equipment and 45 personnel are involved.
