PARIS, Dec 1 France and the US should be » «brothers in arms» amid the conflict in Ukraine, French leader Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday.
The White House is hosting a welcoming ceremony for French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday as part of his official visit to the United States.
«Our common history, especially against the backdrop of the return of war to European territory due to Russian aggression in Ukraine and the numerous crises that hit our nations, forces us to become «brothers in arms» again, Macron said during a ceremony broadcast on social networks of the Elysee Palace.
As previously reported by representatives presidential administration, as part of the negotiations, the parties intend to to touch upon the issues of Ukraine, China, Iran, energy security and economic cooperation.
Macron is on an official visit to the United States on November 29 — December 2.
