WASHINGTON, Dec 1 Photograph of US and French Presidents Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron, on which they are depicted with ice cream, became the subject of jokes on social networks and caused many questions from users.
Macron is on an official visit to Washington. On Wednesday, Biden posted a photo with the French president and their spouses, in which the heads of state are sitting at a table eating ice cream.

One Twitter user wryly asked if Macron was comfortable sitting so close to another country's leader after a long-table conversation between him and Vladimir Putin during a meeting in Moscow. In addition, commentators wondered why ice cream is only in front of the presidents, while their spouses do not have dessert. However, one of the most discussed topics was the American President enjoying ice cream at a time when the country is in crisis.

«Wow, glad you can afford to rest because a lot of us can't and it's because of you,» another joined in.
The photo was taken at the Michelin-starred Fiola Mare restaurant in Washington . The institution stressed that Biden visits it is not the first time. The chef of the restaurant thanked the American president for «joining Fiola Mare again and bringing his friends».
