
MOSCOW, Feb 2 another $10 billion from other countries and international organizations, said Deputy Finance Minister Olga Zykova.
According to Zykova, the Ukrainian publication Ekonomicheskaya Pravda writes that in 2023, despite «measures to reduce the budget deficit», the need for international financing is about $3 billion monthly. According to Zykova, the Ukrainian government has received confirmation of the allocation of $30 billion from the European Union and the United States.
«However, there remains a need for another 10 billion dollars. And here we are counting on assistance from other countries and international financial organizations, in particular the IMF,» Zykova is quoted as saying.
Earlier, the head of the budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Roksolana Podlasa, said that the government of Ukraine expects, within the framework of the meeting of the so-called financial Ramstein, which is expected in March, to agree with partners on providing 10 billion dollars to cover the country's budget deficit. The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshny, said earlier that assistance from international partners and the IMF this year could exceed $38 billion and cover the country's state budget deficit.
